Mental imbalances associated with Vata types commonly manifest as bloating, gas or distention, and can be counteracted with triphala, which boosts absorption and circulation in the GI tract.* Emotional imbalances associated with Pitta types manifest as diarrhea or inflammation, and can be treated with soothing ginger or fiber-fortifying fennel seed.* Physical imbalances associated with Kapha types manifest as slow or incomplete bowel movements, and can be counteracted with senna or flax seed, which have both traditionally been used to promote ease of flow.*

Brewing:

1. Bring fresh water to a boil.
2. Add one tea bag to one 8oz cup of hot water.
3. Allow the tea bag to steep for 7-10 minutes.
4. Remove and strain the tea bag.
5. Sip and enjoy Davidson’s organic tea.
