Decaffeinated Green (Loose Leaf) offers a pure decaffeinated green tea base.

Taste:

Davidson's Decaffeinated Green (Loose Leaf) boasts a light, nutty flavor profile, as rich as its caffeinated counterpart.

Origin:

Davidson's decaffeinated teas go through a natural CO2 extraction process, also called effervescence. This process maintains tea flavor and antioxidant levels. Davidson's organic decaffeinated teas are sourced from the Putharjhora Tea Garden in Darjeeling, India.

Ingredients:

Organic decaffeinated green tea.

Brewing:

  1. Heat fresh, filtered water just short of the boiling point.
  2. Add 2 grams of tea to a infuser, or straight into an 8-oz. mug.
  3. Pour the heated water into the mug.
  4. Steep for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Strain tea leaves, or take out the infuser.
  6. Sip and enjoy Davidson’s organic tea.

excellent organic decaf green
Paul Machlis (Scotts Valley, CA) 12/1/2025 8:28 AM
I've tried various decaf greens (for my afternoons) and so far this is my preferred one. My first brew of any green tea is maybe 90 seconds (2nd brew is longer), and this works better for me than what is often recommended (3 minutes).

I look forward to this mild and flavorful tea in the evening. Especially this winter with all the bad weather!

I love this tea

I have been ordering this tea in bulk for several years. I love it. I especially like not having to have all of the packaging that comes with tea bags.

too bitter
chgirl (MT) 2/9/2015 4:19 PM
I finally decided after 3 bags of this that it is way too bitter. If it is steeped for longer than exactly 2 minutes it becomes undrinkable. I wanted a decaf loose leaf green tea but I am going to return to tea bags until something better comes along. The taste of this tea even if steeped the exact 2 minutes is not good.
