       Davidson's organic black tea is sourced from family tea gardens in the Darjeeling and Assam regions of India. In this image, a group of small farmers from the Samabeong Tea Estate rest after a day of hard work.

History:


Earl Grey is a universal blend of tea that is said to have been created for the Second Earl of Grey in the 1800s.


Ingredients:

Organic black tea* and natural oil of bergamot. [* denotes Fair Trade Certified™]


Brewing:


  1. Bring fresh, filtered water to a boil.
  2. Add 2 grams of tea to a infuser, or straight into an 8-oz. mug.
  3. Pour the heated water into the mug.
  4. Steep for 3-5 minutes.
  5. Strain tea leaves, or take out the infuser.
  6. Sip and enjoy Davidson’s organic tea.

Still making my mind up about this tea

This earl grey is good quality, but the oil used tastes much sweeter than any other earl grey I've tried, almost like what I would expect from normal oranges rather than the bergamot type. It's good, just not like what I've had under this name before. Just know that you'll be getting a more bright citrusy flavor than you may be used to.

Sampled a fair few but this is by far the best Earl Grey blend around. The flavour is simply perfect! Happiness in a cup!
