Davidson's sources its organic ginger from South India, the same property from which our tulsi is sourced as well. During our last visit to the area, we had the opportunity to meet many of the incredible small farmers that cultivate our tulsi, ginger and other herbs. Ingredients:
Organic ginger, organic lemongrass, organic licorice root, organic peppermint and organic black pepper.
Brewing:
- Bring fresh, filtered water to a boil.
- Add 2 grams of tea to a infuser, or straight into an 8-oz. mug.
- Pour the heated water into the mug.
- Steep for 5-7 minutes.
- Strain tea leaves, or take out the infuser.
- Sip and enjoy Davidson’s organic tea.

sweet after taste

I love Davidson's teas but this one, not so much. It has a lingering sweet flavor (perhaps the licorice root?) that tastes like an artificial sweetner to me.

When I first tried this tea I was very pleasantly surprised. It is wonderful, however I thought I might be the only one in my family who enjoys this one. I love pepper and the pepper comes through in this tea. To my surprise, my wife also loves this tea. The pepper isn't so prominent as to drown out the ginger.
I will definitely be re-ordering this tea when I run out.
