Description:

South African Green Rooibos (Loose Leaf) is rooibos or red tea that is unfermented.

Taste:

Davidson's South African Green Rooibos (Loose Leaf) offers a light, earthy flavor profile, much milder than that of traditional rooibos.

Origin:

Davidson's sources its organic rooibos from South Africa. During a recent trip to visit our rooibos farmer, Davidson's co-owner, Kunall Patel, had the opportunity to experience each phase in the rooibos production process. Notice the green coloring of the green rooibos in the picture to the left.

Ingredients:

Organic green rooibos.

Brewing:

  1. Bring fresh, filtered water to a boil.
  2. Add 2 grams of tea to a infuser, or straight into an 8-oz. mug.
  3. Pour the heated water into the mug.
  4. Steep for 5-7 minutes.
  5. Strain tea leaves, or take out the infuser.
  6. Sip and enjoy Davidson’s organic tea.

My favorite herbal tea!
Brian (SC) 5/14/2024 4:31 PM
I am very sensitive to caffeine, but I still like to have a good cup of "tea" later in the day. And most decaffeinating methods are very questionable to me. This is the perfect solution! Great flavor (both hot or iced), and naturally caffeine free!

Bitter and Delightful!
Sher Schwartz (The Dalles, OR) 2/4/2017 7:56 AM
I drink a pound of this tea a year. I'm not a coffee drinker, but the flavor of this tea reminds me of a smooth black coffee, and to me, is delightfully bitter. I really love this green rooibos when I want a bracing cup without the caffeine . I prefer not to add any sweetener with this tea. If you are looking for a replacement for coffee, this might work for your palette as it has mine. Highly recommended.
