Davidson's sources its organic tulsi from India. Davidson's co-owner, Kunall Patel, recently visited our tulsi supplier. Here's a close-up shot of a variety of freshly-grown tulsi.

History:

Tulsi is a sacred, Indian herb that is commonly referred to as the Holy Basil or the Elixir of Life. The herb is in the basil family, but rather carries a light, minty taste.


Ingredients:

---

Organic rama tulsi, organic krishna tulsi, and organic vana tulsi.


Brewing:

---

1. Bring fresh water to a boil.
2. Add one brew bag to one quart of water in a heat-proof container.
3. Allow the brew bag to steep for 5-7 minutes.
4. Remove and strain the brew bag.
5. Allow infusion to cool to room temperature.
6. Serve over ice or chill in a refrigerator.
7. Note: Discard unused iced tea after 48 hours.
