Davidson's sources its organic tulsi from India. Davidson's co-owner, Kunall Patel, recently visited our tulsi supplier. Here he is presenting a handful of fresh tulsi sprigs. |

Tulsi is a sacred, Indian herb that is commonly referred to as the Holy Basil or the Elixir of Life. The herb is in the basil family, but rather carries a light, minty taste. Ingredients:

- Bring fresh, filtered water to a boil.
- Add 2 grams of tea to a infuser, or straight into an 8-oz. mug.
- Pour the heated water into the mug.
- Steep for 5-7 minutes.
- Strain tea leaves, or take out the infuser.
- Sip and enjoy Davidson’s organic tea.

This is one of my favorite evening teas.
Great for winding down, or calming children.
I drink a lot of different teas.
And this one is in my top 10!

I love this tea. The health benefits alone in the Tulsi leaves and red rooibos bush is a definite advantage. The natural vanilla flavoring is absolutely delicious. I mix a 1/2 bag of this with a 1/2 bag of Davidson's Tulsi Chamomile and together the blend calms my nerves, relieves my migraine s, and my digestive system. All in all a very important role in my life, as I drink four cups of this blend a day.

I'm a big fan of rooibos tea, but this one comes off a bit like a cold medicine.
Nice for occasional variety, but can only tolerate about a cup every two weeks. Good for drinking at night.
