Description:
Tulsi Rose Petals (Loose Leaf) combines rose and chamomile flowers with three adaptogenic varieties of Tulsi (Krishna, Rama, and Vana). Taste:
Davidson's Tulsi Rose Petals (Loose Leaf) is a fragrant, floral brew with light citrus top notes. Origin:
|
Davidson's sources its organic tulsi from India. Davidson's co-owner, Kunall Patel, recently visited our tulsi supplier. Here he and a group of small farmers inspect a batch of freshly sheared tulsi before drying. |
History:
Tulsi is a sacred, Indian herb that is commonly referred to as the Holy Basil or the Elixir of Life. The herb is in the basil family, but rather carries a light, minty taste. Ingredients:
Organic tulsi*, organic chamomile, organic lemongrass, organic rose petals, natural flavors, and organic stevia. [* denotes Fair Trade Certified™] Brewing:
- Bring fresh, filtered water to a boil.
- Add 2 grams of tea to a infuser, or straight into an 8-oz. mug.
- Pour the heated water into the mug.
- Steep for 5-7 minutes.
- Strain tea leaves, or take out the infuser.
- Sip and enjoy Davidson’s organic tea.

I read the description: Rose Petals, Chamomile flowers and 3 types of Tulsi. Sadly when the package arrived the label shows that it has Stevia in it. WHY? Loose leaf Tulsi tea is supposed to be a "healthy" tea - why the need to add stevia??? Can't drink it and can't send back. Called, Customer service said I could return if I paid for shipping - which is almost as much as the tea cost. I sent an email - no response. This company and their lack of customer service has left a bad taste in my mouth.
