Description:

Tulsi Turmeric Ginger is an anti-inflammatory blend that combines turmeric, cinnamon and ginger with three adaptogenic varieties of Tulsi (Krishna, Rama, and Vana).

Taste:

Davidson's Tulsi Turmeric Ginger is a spice-forward blend with a zingy ginger finish.

Origin:

Davidson's sources its organic tulsi from India. Davidson's co-owner, Kunall Patel, recently visited our tulsi supplier. Here he is with a small farmer, posing in a field of fresh tulsi.

History:

Tulsi is a sacred, Indian herb that is commonly referred to as the Holy Basil or the Elixir of Life. The herb is in the basil family, but rather carries a light, minty taste.

Ingredients:

Organic turmeric, organic cinnamon, organic tulsi, organic ginger, organic cardamom, organic cloves and organic black pepper.

Brewing:

  1. Bring fresh water to a boil.
  2. Add one tea bag to one 8oz cup of hot water.
  3. Allow the tea bag to steep for 5-7 minutes.
  4. Remove and strain the tea bag.
  5. Sip and enjoy Davidson’s organic tea.

I am addicted to this tea!
Carol Hatfield (Indianapolis, IN) 10/21/2019 11:03 AM
I normally avoid tea with spices in it, except for really good and authentic chai, but after trying a sample of this tea, I had to buy a box! I put milk in it, so it is very chai-like, but has no caffeine, and has turmeric in it. It's very healthy and tastes fabulous!!

Delicious!
Carol Hatfield (Indianapolis, IN) 10/7/2019 11:42 AM
I received 2 free bags of this tea, as a sampler. I am very picky about spicy teas. They can be gross, unless done properly (we all know about the icky fakey chai teas out there!). This tea is done properly. I drink it with milk, like chai, and I drink it all. It's delicious! And very good for you.

A good combination of herbs
Srinivasa Kottapalli (Aurora, IL) 8/9/2019 12:36 PM
Very good combination, perfect blend and aroma. I mix these with Green tea, Lemon Grass as well as per weather and drink all day. if you could add Black pepper then it would really add little more medicinal power
