Description:
Ultimate Cocoa combines organic cane sugar and vanilla essence with rich cocoa powder. This is a low caffeine blend since chocolate and cacao alike contain very minor natural stimulants like theobromine.

Davidson's sources its organic cacao from Dominican Republic, Ghana, Peru and Ecuador. Cacao bean pods are rolled and sorted to promote drying before it undergoes its various chocolate processing steps. |
Ingredients:
Organic cocoa, organic sugar and natural flavor.
Brewing:
- In a saucepan, add 3 Tbsp of Ultimate Cocoa to 8 fl. oz of milk (or a dairy alternative).
- While the milk is still cold, stir the cocoa to make a thin paste.
- Heat the cocoa mixture to just under boiling.
- Pour the hot mixture into a mug, stirring thoroughly until fully blended.
- Add some whipped cream or marshmallows and enjoy!

The first time I made a cup of this cocoa, I followed the directions to the letter. The result was an intensely rich, sweet cup of delicious cocoa with no cloying after-taste.
Since I prefer a less sweet blend, I cut back on the recommended amount of cocoa and loved the result. The cocoa blend is an aromatic mix of flavors that tastes leaps and bounds better than any instant mass-market stuff.
Makes the perfect gift.
