    Tea time with my Grandma Goldie was always one of my favorite traditions. She has since passed but every day I have a “cuppa dee” (what I used to call cup of tea when I was little) and I think of her. Tea brings up memories but it also brings comfort and security.     A wonderful tea ritual of an herbal tea as the centerpiece with a variety of sweet snacks. Normally I would pick a green tea, or occasionally a white tea. But I feel as though this mildly sweet herbal tea, with some licorice and ginger, pairs terrifically with these treats. My mom made the awesome French toast and also her famous banana nut bread, and there’s also some baklava and rice pudding. Looks great! @davidsonsteas
