Davidson’s Guayusa is a super-leaf found in the Amazonian jungle naturally containing almost as much caffeine as a cup of coffee. It is known as “The Night Watchman”, by the indigenous Kichwa people who drink it to stay awake. It is packed with polyphenols, 15 amino acids, and twice the antioxidants of green tea. Unlike black, green, and herbal teas, Guayusa does not have any tannins so the taste is smooth and sweet. Guayusa is related to Yerba Mate, as they are both caffeinated rainforest holly trees. 

This new offering comes after a string of releases from the Nevada based, farm-to-table producer, which includes fruit teas, dessert teas, and red teas.
