Chamomile Flowers (Loose Leaf)

These are actual, real dried flower. They came in the biggest bag of all the other teas I ordered from Davidson's and with good reason. These are whole, real chamomile flowers. They have a heavenly aroma and tastes wonderful. I like to use 2.5 gr/cup, just because I like to intensify the flavor even more. Can't get enough!

WOW! I never thought I liked chamomile much, but I got some of this to make a blend to help me sleep better and de-stress in the evenings. This stuff is so surprisingly fresh! After drinking chamomile in tea bags and noting it’s rather stale taste, I never thought much of it. But wow, the floral, complex flavor of this tea is amazing. I now actively seek out chamomile for its taste! As a fun recipe - this is amazing for creating gin infusions. I’ve been sipping chamomile gin all summer long!

The picture barely does this tea service. It is high quality, no dust or scrapings. The bag has an air-tight lining and a zip-top allowing for long term storage and guaranteed freshness--which, if you're brave and order a pound at a time, is a necessity. I am a chamomile fiend, and grew up in an area where it was grown and harvested locally. This tea tastes every bit as good as I remember the local, small-farm teas tasting.
