Not just a pretty tea
Robin Alwine (Peru, IN) 2/16/2020 2:35 PM
These buds are lovely, yes. They open into a little bouquet of greet tea and blooms of red and white flowers. However, what's more amazing is, the tea is delicious. I expected a more bland flavor and light color, but if you allow this to steep a while, it develops s depth of color and flavor that is thoroughly noteworthy and enjoyable. I've triple-steeped each one, and while the flavor does lose intensity, it's still good and smells terrific. It's so very pleasant, I'm here to get more right now. I recommend it with zeal! Understand, I'm normally a breakfast tea drinker, and I just wanted to try these for their beauty. Now, I'll buy them for their flavor and overall experience, as well. They do well with a light sweetening. 10-12 mins @ 208 degrees F.
